Keratin Treatment & Smoothing
A treatment that feeds the strand, stops frizz and brings back shine.
Keratin is already the protein your hair is built from. Washing, sun, chlorine and hot drying open micro-gaps along the shaft; a keratin treatment fills them. Frizz drops, the hair reflects light evenly so it shines, and a comb runs through it far more easily.
Who it suits
Frizzy, static-prone hair; thick, coarse hair; wavy hair that goes out of control in humidity; hair damaged by colour or lightener. On hair that is already straight and fine it makes no visible difference — if that is your hair we will say so rather than sell you a service you do not need.
The process
The hair is washed with a clarifying shampoo, dried, and the keratin is worked through strand by strand, then sealed with a flat iron after it has developed. Total time is 60 to 120 minutes depending on length. The effect holds for two to four months, and a sulphate-free shampoo extends it noticeably.
The first 72 hours
The 48 to 72 hours after the treatment matter most: do not wash the hair, do not press a mark into it with a hat or clip, do not tuck it behind your ears. That time is what lets the keratin settle into the strand — a mistake here costs you half the result.
