Kids' Haircut
A toy-car chair, a shelf of toys and a patient team — haircuts without the tears.
What frightens children at a barbershop is usually not the scissors but the setting: a chair too high, unfamiliar noises, not being able to see themselves in the mirror. Our children's area exists to remove exactly those. The cutting chair is shaped like a toy car, so the child sits and plays with the steering wheel while we work; next to it there is a toy shelf and a green rest corner.
The first haircut
We book extra time for a baby's first cut and we do not rush it. The clipper goes into their hand first, they hear it, they feel it running. We do not start until the child is ready. For families who want it, we photograph the first cut and send the lock of hair home in a small envelope.
Styles we cut for children
For school we suggest cuts that need no morning styling: a short taper, a light fade, a classic side part, a textured crop. On curly and wavy hair we balance the volume without going too short — curly hair rises as it gets shorter.
For parents
You can stand beside the chair for the whole cut; for most children that is the single most calming thing. The waiting lounge has comfortable seating and a play corner for siblings. On hygiene there is no flexibility: clipper guards and scissors are disinfected after every child, and the neck strip and cape are single-use.
